I previously posted a recipe for ‘Greek’ potato wedges which involve a number of ingredients and over 90 minutes of prep & cook time. Since this is supposed to be a ‘Basic’ compilation of recipes for those like me who lack time and motivation to make elaborate spreads, it occurred to me I should share the very simple version.
The original recipe I worked from -by ‘celebrity’ blogger Billy Green, credit where credit’s due- called for 40 minutes of baking which turned the wedges into potato chips, and a generous amount of steak seasoning plus ‘Sir Cha-Cha‘ sauce that I didn’t much care for. This is my much simpler version, which goes well with A LOT of dishes, from steak to fish and even as an evening snack while watching a movie!
